Being Taught From My Wagering Errors

First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the web or at land based casinos for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it up until you are broke. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you start to track your losses and the anguish sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, believe me, this concept RARELY ever works. Say you’re playing on slots, have a bankroll set to the side prior to beginning your action. DO NOT exceed that boundary, regardless how appealing. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different cup. Don’t use your successes no matter what. Once you’ve gambled through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the net or at a land-based betting house, do not stay around. Always remember, there is going to be another day, another time.

Remember, wagering is supposed to be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not manage the loss, don’t even start.
